The Steel Orchid Collective
forge a resilient mind, body, and being
“Life is hard. It often feels filled with disharmony, discomfort, pain, suffering, anguish, and confusion. Just when you manage to rise above a crushing wave, another one drags you back down into dark depths before you can catch your breath. You might find yourself waiting for the waves to stop and the storm to pass. What if you could ride the waves during the storm instead of fighting against them?
When I refer to myself as a Resiliency Mentor, I mean that I am here to help you strengthen your body, mind, and spirit. This concept is represented by the Steel Orchid—someone who knows how to forge the armor necessary to withstand life’s challenges. I am passionate about helping everyone become their most resilient selves, especially sensitive souls and those with chronic conditions.”
You Are Unique — So Your Program Should Be, Too
I believe that each person is a one-of-a-kind individual with their own needs, goals, and rhythms. My mentorship isn’t one-size-fits-all — together, we’ll create a personalized plan to support the areas of your life you’re ready to grow, shift, or transform.
Here’s how we might work together:
Mindset Makeover
Change your thoughts, change your life.
If you’re ready to quiet your inner critic, shift from negativity to possibility, or simply become a better friend to yourself, we’ll work on rewiring your thought patterns to create a calmer, more confident inner world. We’ll take it step by step — this is about growth, not perfection.
Nutrition Support
I won’t hand you a rigid meal plan or tell you what to cut out. Instead, I’ll help you learn how to truly nourish your body — in ways that feel sustainable and satisfying. Whether you’re curious about nutrition science or struggling to stick to your health goals, we’ll explore the deeper “why” behind your choices and create strategies that actually work for you.
Movement Motivation
Your physical body deserves care, and movement is one of the most powerful tools for mental and emotional wellness. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just starting to think about exercise, we’ll find a style of movement that feels right — energizing, supportive, and realistic for your lifestyle.
Relationship Navigation
Relationships are at the heart of a fulfilling life. If you’re feeling stuck, drained, or disconnected, we can explore what’s working and what’s not — and get clear on your needs. From setting boundaries to improving communication, I’ll help you build more balanced, empowering connections.
Personal Growth & Self-Discovery
Sometimes, you just know there's more — more clarity, more purpose, more ease. If you’re feeling stuck, uninspired, or unsure of your direction, this space is for you. We’ll dig into what truly lights you up, identify what's holding you back, and uncover tools to help you grow into your most grounded, empowered self. This isn’t about fixing you — it’s about helping you reconnect with the best version of you that’s already there.
Fill Your Cracks with Gold
Kintsugi teaches us that brokenness is not an end but rather a starting point for something new and beautiful. It emphasizes that imperfections can be appreciated and even enhance an object's beauty. We all face breaks and setbacks, but by embracing these experiences, we can discover strength and resilience, finding new beauty and meaning in the process. Every time we allow ourselves to be vulnerable and experience breaking open, it becomes an opportunity for post-traumatic growth. We are not broken; instead, we are a stunning mosaic composed of all the challenges and adversities we've overcome.

Meet Your Mentor
My name is Krista Larrow, and I have a deep understanding of resilience and reinvention. I know what it feels like to lose everything and start over—again and again.
Close friends who know me well have often said, “You are so strong. I don’t know how you cope without falling apart.”
But the truth is, there have been times when I did fall apart. I allowed those feelings to surface and took the time to confront them. Part of being strong is having the courage to navigate the most difficult and complex feelings imaginable.
Practices such as spiritual bypassing (which focuses only on positive feelings), numbing ourselves, and keeping busy are all forms of avoidance, not resilience. You can’t heal what you won’t feel. Real resilience involves learning new tools to help us cope with challenges, making space for suffering, and bouncing back in a healthy and reasonable timeframe.
I have dedicated thousands of hours to researching health, wellness, and self-improvement. My relentless pursuit of wellness arose from a personal necessity: I realized that I was the one best equipped to slay my own dragons. During the darkest moments of my journey, I wished I had a wise guide to help me find my way out. Now, it is my passion and honor to serve as that guide for others.
